We have an excellent opportunity for a Project Coordinator, Quality & Health IT in our National Center office in Dallas, TX. The Project Coordinator, Quality & Health IT will be responsible for supporting the Quality and Health IT teams' and VP's needs. This position will manage the tracking and reporting of budgets, scheduling and setup of meetings with both internall and external constituients, support team members on project management, manage assigned projects, support the volunteer group management needs and support the team's administrative needs. In addition, the Project Coordinator will provide administrative support, project management for team for projects as needed, manage volunteer activites including meetings and facilitation of agenda creation, and will support communication to various stakeholder groups to educate and update them on the Quality and Health IT Work Team's progress. Major Responsibilities Include: 1. Coordination of conference call scheduling with internal and external groups, Volunteer and Strategic Alliance partnership meetings, and Qualiy and Health IT meetings. 2. Create and manage budgets for ongoing projects, as requested including but not limited to: monthly tracking and variance reporting, year end projections, research of erroneous charges and resolution, invoice management, purchase order management, and E1 management. 3. Manage (under supervision of Quality and Health IT Work Team member) ongoing relationships with external audiences, as appropriate, including but not limited to corporate sponsors, strategic partners, healthcare professionals, and volunteers. 4. Manage updating of intranet and internet sites for Quality and Health IT projects as appropriate(guiding project manager for execution.) 5. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key internal stakeholder groups. 6. Manages team projects through tracking of statuses, action items, deadlines, and due dates. 7. Manage department rosters, organizational charts, distribution lists, and new hire paperwork. 8. Maintain organized records of department functions.
1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare, or a related field required. 2. At least two years of experience in project management or communications/marketing or health technology required. 3. At least two years of experience in market research and market analysis. 4. Strong skills in clear and effective written and oral communications, including thorough knowledge and command of business English. 5. Ability to approach complex and challenging tasks with proactive, problem solving attitude 6. Ability to communicate complex information in digestible format 7. Ability to track and monitor projects and relationships 8. Knowledge of voluntary health organizations and experience in group process is highly desirable 9. Ability to gather, analyze and interpret relevant data and use interpretations in the development of business plans 10. Ability to participate in meetings and work on a team, yet can also work independently and think logically 11. Ability to travel throughout the United States approximately 10% of the time, including some occasional nights and weekends.
