Job Description

Must possess the ability to read and understand written documents as they pertain to the Quality Management System.

* General PC experience required (Microsoft Office experience preferred)

* Experience in print/mail operations preferred

* Demonstrated knowledge and experience operating complex machinery including system print and inserter equipment preferred

* Customer service related experience preferred.

* Demonstrated knowledge and experience in a related functional area.

* Effective communication skills.

Competency in performing multiple functional tasks/projects simultaneously.

Production Operator IV - 3rd shift

1. Follow all Exela AZ - DES facility policies, including health & safety, building security, data security, and a harassment free work environment.

2. Support the Quality Management System, including participating in the Corrective and Preventative Action process, and assisting in the development of procedures, work instructions and quality system documents.

3. Manage job submission to multiple high speed cut-sheet printers utilizing Emtex job submission software.

4. Operation of OCE VP 6250 high speed cut-sheet printers, Troy 950 Micr Printers and various small office equipment.

5. First level maintenance and troubleshooting of OCE VP 6250's, and Troy 950's.

6. Use pallet jacks as necessary to move skids of paper and finished products.

7. Assist with inventory management of paper and supplies.

8. Actively monitor product for conformity based on Job Specific Work Instructions and Control Plans.

9. Identify non-conforming product and bad materials and ensure leadership is aware of any bad materials.

10. Responsible for all operator aspects of the assignment:

* Operate high-speed cut sheet print devices.

* Set-up, adjust, and monitor equipment, if applicable, to ensure proper quality.

* Performing manual aspects of the assignment, including manual assembly and inspection, to ensure proper quality.

* Operate related equipment including

a. Mail Machines

b. Folders


* Keeping work areas clean and organized, and free of un-needed production components.

* Maintain all logs, reports and documentation completely, neatly, and accurately, including electronic documentation as needed to ensure it is completed accurately and on time to customer requirements.

11. Participate in cross training.

12. Adhere to policies and notification for tardiness and absenteeism, and reporting work hours

13. Perform various assigned tasks as required

a. Ability to meet attendance policy.

b. Ability to lift at least 50 pounds without accommodations.

c. Significant bending, reaching, lifting, walking and standing required.
