The Treasury Manager - Special Projects will be an essential member of Ecolab's Treasury team. This role will support special projects across Cash Management, FX Management and Internal Finance Committee and will partner with Procurement and Global Business Services to drive One Company initiatives. Consequently, this position is intended for high-potential individuals who will be able to work with executives and recommend important changes to the company's treasury strategy and drive improvement in core treasury processes. This St. Paul-based position reports to Assistant Treasurer and will interact with global teams inside the finance function as well as key external parties.
What You Will Do:
- Analyze and recommend changes in critical cash management processes to drive efficiency while maintaining strong controls
- Partner with procurement and Global Business Services to evaluate and implement digital tools and banking solutions to support One Company objectives
- Evaluate and implement initiatives to simplify FX exposure management, hedging and reporting processes
- Work closely with other functions and departments to drive projects and resolve issues (i.e. Investor Relations, CP&A, Accounting, Tax, Legal)
- Support ad hoc Internal Finance Committee projects as needed
- Evaluate technology and systems to maximize automation, efficiency and controls
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics or a related field
- 5 years of experience in Finance and/or Accounting
- No immigration sponsorship available for this role
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA, CFA and/or CPA
- Experience in Accounting, especially working with Treasury-related topics
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail, communication skills, time management and organization skills, presentation skills and problem resolution skills
- Must have the ability to demonstrate overall business acumen and understanding of treasury operations and have curiosity to learn new subject matter
- Experience in a multinational corporation or financial institution
