POSITION SUMMARY:

This position will manage and oversee the execution of all aspects of AtriCure's participation in regional and local conventions. Activities include inventory management, logistics coordination (staffing, badges, hotel blocks, communications, ancillary events), sponsorship management, social media/promotional marketing coordination, and on-site execution.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:

  • Oversee and execute all logistics of regional conventions, including, but not limited to, staffing, badges, hotel blocks, inventory management, and ancillary events.
  • Develop and manage processes for seamless execution and tracking of tradeshow participation, display inventory, and event reporting.
  • Assist Manager, Conventions with attendee registration and room block management for Tier I National conventions
  • Assist Director, Conventions & Events in convention budget management monthly
  • Manage monthly convention expenses and reconciliation
  • Assist in managing the event calendar for internal stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance to industry rules
  • Report key metrics related to events
  • Maintain electronic database and electronic files for events

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, advertising, or marketing required or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of related convention experience, preferably in the medical device setting
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Must be creative, self-motivated, proactive, intuitive, organized, flexible, deadline-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks concurrently
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Ability to travel 15% - 25%

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficiency in Exhibit Force and Cvent platforms
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including but not limited to InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to regularly walk, sit, or stand as required
  • Ability to occasionally bend and push/pull
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift over 25 pounds
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
